A Photography Journal
I have always wondered what actually makes a good photo. There was a person I knew who spent a pretty penny on a fabulous camera with all the bells and whistles. This person proceeded to show me a rather perfect picture of a butterfly that was captured. It was stunning and unquestionably perfect — for a science book. Now, I understand there is a need for such documentary-type photography, but I knew that this was not what this person intended. There was something missing that would make it art. This “something” is what I want to ponder.

This is my intent. I know a picture is worth a thousand words, however, adding art with a written or spoken story adds such a richness to the art itself. So come along and join me on this journey.
